buteo-syncfw software package provides Synchronization backend, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install buteo-syncfw
buteo-syncfw is installed in your system.
Make ensure the buteo-syncfw package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep buteo-syncfw *
You will get with buteo-syncfw package name, version, architecture and description in a table
